Why NANGA GII?
PROBLEM
PTC Windchill RV&S (or PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager) is used as an ALM tool, but version control of the software is to be implemented via Atlassian Bitbucket and Git. Items within Windchill RV&S must be able to be linked to commits on the Bitbucket server.
SOLUTION
The Nanga Git Integrity Integration (NGII) makes it possible to establish this link between Windchill RV&S items and Bitbucket commits.
A plugin on the Bitbucket side is used for the global configuration of the integration and ensures that for each new commit the corresponding information is updated in Windchill RV&S. A Java application on the client provides users with a graphical interface to link the commits to the respective Windchill RV&S items.
